Wales entertain Spain in an international friendly at the Millennium Stadium on Thursday night. The Euro 2016 finalists witnessed a mixed run of results during the previous international break w where a maiden win over Republic of Ireland was combined with a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Denmark – both of which came in the Nations League.

Compared to them, La Roja had no such concerns as they started their Nations League campaign with a clean sweep of results. The 2014 World Cup champions begun their competition with a close 2-1 triumph over England but they thereafter came into their own against Croatia, whom they humbled by a comfortable 6-0 scoreline.
